Meet Rufus

This is our dog Rufus. He showed up at our friends house and needed a home. At first I wasn't too keen on a big huge dog, but Scott seemed to be in love. He usually doesn't pay any attention to our dogs, so when he was playing fetch and letting Rufus ride in the truck I knew it was true love. Rufus is a really good dog. Just a few of the things we love about him.

1. We have no idea where he poops, but it's not in our yard.
2. He is very good with the kids. He even wrestles with Nolan and doesn' t hurt him.
3. He's Nolan's best friend. He follows Nolan everywhere and even carries his walking sticks for him. There's nothing I like more than seeing Nolan out exploring and Rufus right along side him. I don't worry as much. The whole Lassie thing, you know.
4. You don't have to bend down to pet him. His head comes right to my hand.
   
5. When you tell him no, he doesn't keep doing the thing you told him to stop.
6. He sits like a human. He always sits like he is in the picture. The funniest thing!

Who knew a huge dog with a big block head could be so great! We love you Roof!
