My cute husband in the skid loader in the basement. He acts like it's work, but I know he secretly loves it. We are in the process of getting the drains in so we can pour the basement floor. That is why the walls aren't on in the picture below. We need to be able to get cement in there.
The view from the front door. The kitchen is on the right and the bedrooms are on the left. There will be a propane stove insert in the area between the two windows.
From the dining area looking into the livingroom. The little enclosed area is the stairway. The framer was worried about my kids falling down the hole. (A very real possibility) The doorway on the right is the master bedroom
The view from the dining room into the kitchen and dinette (the bay window area) My kitchen will be on the other side of the 1/2 wall
Looking from the mud room into the kitchen. You have to have a mudroom when you farm. The boards on the floor are for me to be able to picture this room in my head. I can't just look at measurements and get it. My husband has been so patient with me. He even put the island in the middle of the floor.
