The kids and I went to Utah this past week to visit family. One of the things we did was go to the Losee cabin near Sundance. We had tin foil dinners and s'mores, played Cities and Knights to our hearts conten (well some of us) and just visited with the fam. We also floated down the river with Uncle Josh. It was so fun! The kids and I in a raft and Uncle Josh in a tube. Delaney was at the front and kept yelling "Look out below!" when a tube would get in front of us. We only hit the brush on the side twice (kind of hard to steer with Gracie only paddling on one side). Josh was kind enough to take pictures of that. The second time Delaney got her hair stuck in the dead limbs so we told her next time to duck below the side of the boat if we headed for the trees. There was about 6 inches of water in the bottom of the boat so the next time we headed for the trees, Delaney ducked and came up with her face sopping wet and complaining that she had a nose ache because the water was so cold. She full on plunged into the boat water. I couldn't help but laugh and tell her "Good job Delaney". We also found a rope that hung out over the river. Notice the monkey I have for a son. We named him Nolan. Some of the pictures of that are included and just some random pic's the kids took of Aunt Natalie, her sister Hailey and Josh. Hailey actually jumped in the river off the rope and caught Gracie when she did it too! What a brave girl I have!
We had a great time at the cabin. Thanks Losee's for letting us borrow your cabin!
